25 weeks

If you can make out the top photo then you must have a good eye for ultrasounds.  Here's a clue: the baby is facing us.  You can also see the arm in this photo.  The bottom photo is a profile shot. Can't wait to meet our baby! 

24 weeks - Jackson's 3rd Birthday!

Is it just me or did my stomach grow a lot in 2 weeks?  Photo with Aunt Nicole, Aunt Mindy and Aunt Carrie.  I hope Baby Novak gets the Novak height gene.

22 weeks - 1st Hawkeye game of the season

It was such a great day for a game!  Tailgating was fun as always but it's just not the same without a beer.

20 weeks

This week the baby is the size of a small cantaloupe. This is also the week we could've found out whether Baby Novak is a boy or girl, but we like surprises, especially ones like this, so we're going to wait until Baby Novak is born. We have the girl name picked out but not the boy name - Brad's really hoping for Brad Jr.

The first photo shows the baby's profile (the heads on the right side).  In the second photo, Baby Novak is look right at us. We're getting a thumb's up in the 3rd picture which we like to think is the baby's way of letting us know its doing ok in there.

14 weeks - The start of the 2nd trimester

Can you see it? At 14 weeks you can see the spine, feet and profile.  They say at this week the baby is the size of a clenched fist.

10 weeks

Only 3 weeks later and look at the difference.  The baby has graduated from its tadpole stage.

7 weeks - Our first look at Baby Novak

Baby Novak's first ultrasound photo. We found out at 6 weeks that we were pregnant and immediately scheduled an ultrasound. Brad thinks the baby looks more like a tadpole than a baby, which it does, but nevertheless the baby, tadpole, whatever, was a beautiful site to us! DUE DATE January 9th 2011.
